Googong has grown a lot in little more than a decade. Families have grown up here, sporting clubs have taken shape, businesses have opened and the routines of everyday life are well established. And with more people, places and facilities still to come, Googong continues to grow.
The Glenrock has been created to become part of those everyday routines. Breakfast before work, coffee when there’s nowhere to rush to, a bite after Bunyip Park, lunch with friends, a stop on the way to training, dinner when nobody feels like cooking or a table full of family when everyone manages to be in the same place.
Behind The Glenrock is the team from Royal Hotel Queanbeyan. We bring with us the same expectations around hospitality: taking pride in what we do, looking after people and paying attention to the details that make people want to come back.
The Glenrock will have a character of its own. That will come with time, through the people who use it, the routines we become part of and the relationships we build along the way.
Getting involved starts with showing up and supporting the people already doing things in the community.
